Riba in Islamic finance: Some fresh insights

Abstract

This paper provides fresh insights into the concept of Riba in Islamic finance. It analyzes the historical, theological, and economic dimensions of Riba and its implications for financial transactions. The study argues for a clearer understanding of Riba to enhance the development of Islamic financial instruments.
