Milei y la agenda de género Davos 2025: análisis desde la retórica de Quintiliano

Abstract

Este artículo analiza el discurso de Javier Milei en Davos 2025 desde una perspectiva retórico-crítica, integrando la teoría clásica de Quintiliano con enfoques contemporáneos sobre metáforas cognitivas y performatividad. Se evidencia cómo Milei utiliza recursos retóricos clásicos (ethos, pathos, logos) y metáforas polarizadoras ("cáncer", "cruzada") para legitimar el neoliberalismo bajo una apariencia antisistema. El discurso, dirigido a élites económicas globales pero amplificado digitalmente, ataca el "wokismo" y el feminismo radical como amenazas existenciales, lo que se traduce en políticas concretas de retroceso en derechos de género en Argentina, como la eliminación del Ministerio de las Mujeres y recortes presupuestarios. La metodología unificada propuesta (dimensiones temporal, formal, funcional y crítica) permite desentrañar cómo el lenguaje performativo construye realidades sociales, reproduce estructuras de poder y polariza el debate público. Se concluye que el discurso de Milei ejemplifica la reinvención del neoliberalismo mediante estrategias discursivas que fusionan tradición retórica con innovación mediática, impactando negativamente en la agenda de género. La investigación subraya la urgencia de desarrollar herramientas analíticas que desmonten la performatividad del poder en discursos populistas para defender derechos democráticos
