Abstract

This work is the result of more than five years of scientific research conducted by the author and addresses a topic of great utility and need for physical education teachers. Its objective is to develop a theoretical and methodological framework based on motor games to improve coordination and rhythm in 7 to 8-year-old students during physical education classes. The theoretical systematization of coordination and rhythm highlights the need for an integrative and individualized approach that leverages students' potential in the teaching-learning process through physical education. This discipline is crucial for the holistic development of students, and therefore, many countries conduct continuous studies to optimize and refine educational programs and content. Physical education is a pedagogical process in schools aimed at developing the individual's physical abilities, based on morphological and functional improvement of the body, the formation and refinement of motor skills, and the acquisition of competencies necessary to fulfill social responsibilities.
