Análisis de la aplicación e implementación de NIIF para pymes en el sector textil y de prendas de vestir de la ciudad de Cuenca

Abstract

La presente investigación analiza el desarrollo del registro y presentación de información financiera de las PYMES dedicadas a la fabricación de prendas de vestir y textiles. En el estudio se considero 32 entidades que presentan información a la Superintendencia de Compañías, de las cuales 11 se encuentran también en la base de datos de la Cámara de la Pequeña Industria del Azuay (CAPIA). Entre los principales atributos de la información financiera de las PYMES se encontró:1. Aplicación de esquema NIIF en la presentación de información para SIC desde el 2012. 2. Modificación en la cuenta de resultados acumulados provenientes de la adopción por primera vez. 3. Modificaciones en el tratamiento contable de Propiedad, Planta y Equipo, por la aplicación de las NIIF para PYMES Al final se presentan recomendaciones al sector que permitirán mejorar la selección de valores razonables, cálculo de depreciaciones, y tratamiento de impuestos diferidos.
