Crisis financiera de 1988: un concilio entre Keynes y Rothbard

Abstract

A partir de la teoría austriaca y la teoría keynesiana sobre ciclos económicos, este ensayo analiza la crisis financiera del sistema UPAC en Colombia, el cual es un hecho histórico conocido como la crisis más dura que afrontó el país en el siglo XX. Se contrasta la evidencia empírica de las causas y consecuencias de esta crisis a la luz de estas dos teorías y se encuentra que la crisis no se explica solamente por un enfoque.
