Economía naranja y la actividad artesanal en Colombia y Nariño: una breve revisión analítica

Abstract

La economía naranja ha sido objeto de especial atención recientemente, pues pone de manifiesto áreas que conservan un alto nivel de creatividad e innovación en sus productos finales, ya sea de orden digital o manual, con el propósito de abrir espacios de invención para la creación de nuevas plazas laborales, así como de información, conocimiento y aplicaciones varias. Por esta razón, en el presente artículo se hace una revisión teórica y estadística, que vislumbra la situación actual de esta rama en Colombia y Nariño, teniendo como eje principal la actividad artesanal. Entre los principales resultados, se encontraron evidentes dificultades para el conjunto de productores artesanales, en particular, frente a su nivel de ingresos, grado educativo y situación de pobreza.
