El sector agricola del departamento de narino en las cuentas regionales 2000 – 2005

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende exponer los elementos teóricos y metodológicos básicos tendientes a una aproximación analítica de las Cuentas de Producción del Sector Agrario que en términos generales abarca la estructura, características y principales dinámicas. Se ha elaborado con base en los resultados obtenidos por el Proyecto Cuentas Económicas de Narino del Centro de Estudios de Desarrollo Regional y Empresarial –CEDRE- de la Universidad de Narino. El proceso descriptivo de las Cuentas del Sector, se hace a precios constantes y básicamente sobre el Valor Agregado que se genera, pues es a partir de esta variable que se construye el Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) Regional. Finalmente, con estos insumos se busca esbozar algunas reflexiones de cara a procesos como el Tratado de Libre Comercio (TLC) con la posibilidad de generar nuevos cuestionamientos y reflexiones sobre el sector.
