Teorías de desarrollo económico y social: articulación con el planteamiento de desarrollo humano

Abstract

El propósito fundamental de este trabajo es discutir las principales teorías del desarrollo económico y social, y articular las mismas a los conceptos fundamentales de desarrollo humano. Para este último postulado conceptual se utilizan básicamente criterios del paradigma de Naciones Unidas, que sirven de base para la elaboración tanto del Informe de Desarrollo Humano Mundial, como de los informes regionales y nacionales, en el ámbito de cada país.
