Distribución y coeficiente de gini, curva paramétrica de lorenz sugerida y calculos

Abstract

Explica paso a paso un método alterno sugerido para ajustar curvas continuas de Lorenz a los escasos cuantiles de distribución, o macro-datos recibidos. Emplea los datos ordenados de rico-a-pobre y determina –como parte del proceso- dos parámetros (A y B) presentes en la función exponencial que sustenta al modelo. Al aplicar el modelo a los mismos cuantiles (macro-datos) usados en (OGWANG:2002;17), el Indice de Gini estimado (0.4041) estuvo dentro de los topes senalados (0.3883-0.4083), y su valor fue apenas un 0.67% mayor respecto al valor real (0.4014) reportado a partir de los cerca de sesenta mil microdatos de la encuesta original. Desde un punto de vista teórico, el modelo puede ser aplicado para reformular la ley de Pareto y entender el efecto-forma de las diferentes distribuciones, en especial para las distribuciones iso-Ginis, tema relacionado con las llamadas especificidades regionales de la distribución, y los análisis de dominancia.
