Teoría de la globalización: bases fundamentales

Abstract

En el artículo se plantea la globalización como una teoría, cuya premisa fundamental es el mayor grado de interdependencia, en todos los campos, entre las regiones y países del mundo, sobre la base de los adelantos tecnológicos en el campo de las comunicaciones y las consecuencias económicas y socioculturales que de ello se derivan. Igualmente se establecen las similitudes y diferencias de la teoría de la globalización con otras corrientes del pensamiento económico y social. Finalmente se enumeran los aspectos que actualmente son objeto de estudio por parte de la corriente teórica de la globalización.
