Abstract

En este trabajo se realiza un análisis del Tratado de Libre Comercio TLC, Estados Unidos-Colombia entrado en vigor en mayo de 2012 frente a la estructura económica del Departamento de Narino. El Grupo de Investigación Frontera Sur, realiza un ejercicio exploratorio y analítico-descriptivo donde se aborda las luces y sombras del tratado para la economía regional. En efecto, se estudia las bondades y consecuencias del comercio internacional desde las distintas escuelas del pensamiento económico y sus aportes más relevantes a la teoría del comercio. En adelante, se analiza los términos del tratado, y su impacto en la economía regional, lo que permite resaltar las características de la estructura productiva de Narino en un contexto de economía de frontera. Este documento se ha dividido en dos partes por su importancia y por la inuencia que puede llegar a tener en el mediano y largo plazo en el desarrollo regional de Narino.
