Posibilidades en el comercio internacional de la quinua: un análisis desde la perspectiva de la competitividad

Abstract

El artículo expone el papel y la importancia que tiene la producción y la comercialización de quinua en el mercado internacional, debido a las inmensas posibilidades de transformación en productos terminados y beneficios que posee y brinda este cultivo. Lo anterior ha permitido que, a la luz de referentes teóricos como la competitividad y las ventajas competitivas, se pueda llevar a cabo un estudio de tipo descriptivo en el cual se evidencia la importancia de este tema en las exportaciones que han realizado principalmente países como Bolivia y Perú, y en las importaciones de la Unión Europea y Asia. De ahí que se vislumbre el papel protagónico que pueden desempenar los países andinos al aprovechar sus tradiciones y convertirlas en oportunidades comerciales y de bienestar para la población mundial
