Propuesta metodológica para la construcción de un ranking de emisores en la Bolsa de Valores de Colombia

Abstract

Este documento presenta el desarrollo y la evolución de las teorías financieras asociadas a los métodos de valoración. Evalúa el comportamiento en el mercado de las acciones que cumplen con algunas condiciones metodológicas y que hacen parte de las canastas IGBC, COLCAP y COL20, teniendo en cuenta los planteamientos de Modigliani y Miller, Markowitz, Sharpe, Damodaran, entre otros. También describe metodologías para la valoración de empresas basadas en estados financieros como el balance general, los estados financieros y los flujos de caja. La propuesta metodológica consiste en la elaboración de dos matrices: una presenta un diagnóstico a través del análisis del riesgo y la rentabilidad de las acciones objeto de estudio; otra analiza la conformación de la estructura del capital, así como su rendimiento esperado. Finalmente, se construye un ranking basado en el diagnóstico del mercado y la estructura de capital de las empresas emisoras de acciones.
