El desarrollo humano sostenible y la educación para el sector agropecuario

Abstract

Cada día es más evidente la necesidad de replantear el paradigma de modelo de desarrolloque siguen las naciones, así como el concepto de bienestar y su significado para los hombres.El modelo del Plan para las Naciones Unidas (PNUD) se propone como alternativa que gira entorno al hombre como eje del desarrollo y no como medio para alcanzarlo. Aunque debatidoy no muy aceptado, principalmente por algunas de las potencias mundiales, es claro que debepromulgarse un sistema en el que los seres humanos logren alcanzar la igualdad y se contrarrestela cada vez más marcada diferencia entre ricos y pobres. Este artículo pretende hacer unareflexión desde el modelo alternativo de desarrollo, sobre unos lineamientos para la educación,en el sector agropecuario de tal modo que se contribuya, en el caso de la Universidad de LaSalle, a la formación de profesionales que promuevan esquemas de desarrollo para el sectoragropecuario mucho más justos y que no atenten contra el medio ambiente.
