Crecimiento económico colombiano en 2011, "disparado" a pesar de las turbulencias externas: análisis de la coyuntura y perspectivas en 2012

Abstract

Resumen: Este artículo analiza el desempeno económico colombiano en 2011 y las perspectivas para 2012, en él se destacan los factores que vienen explicando el buen momento que vive la economía colombiana a pesar de las dificultades que viven las economías industrializadas en materia de déficit fiscal y crecimiento de la deuda pública. En este sentido, un crecimiento del PIB de 5,9% en 2011, casi dos puntos por encima del observado en 2010, confirman que la economía nacional alcanzó rápidamente su tradicional senda de crecimiento potencial después de la crisis mundial de 2007-2009. El dinamismo del mercado interno y el liderazgo del sector minero-energético son los motores del crecimiento, que de seguro se mantendrán en 2012 pese a la recesión de las economías de la eurozona y al lento proceso de recuperación de la economía de los Estados Unidos.
