Síntesis y perspectivas del contexto macroeconómico colombiano 2006-2007

Abstract

Resumen: este artículo presenta un análisis de la coyuntura y la política macroeconómica colombiana en 2006 al igual que las perspectivas sobre el desempeno de la economía del país en 2007. El estudio destaca el buen comportamiento de la economía nacional y presenta algunos elementos que vienen justificando este mayor dinamismo económico, reflejado en una tasa de crecimiento del PIB del 6,8% en 2006, cifra que no se registraba desde hace 28 anos. Adicionalmente, son analizadas algunas problemáticas que enfrenta en la actualidad la economía nacional relacionada con el manejo de la política monetaria y cambiaria, la política fiscal, el empleo y, la pobreza y la desigualdad.
