El Desarrollo Local y la Importancia del Diagnóstico Municipal: Sevilla en la Región Pacífico de Colombia (RPC)

Abstract

Resumen Este artículo tiene por objetivo destacar la importancia del diagnóstico municipal para la identificación de potencialidades locales, como etapa previa para los ejercicios de planificación. A través de información secundaria y bajo el concepto de competitividad territorial, se analiza al municipio de Sevilla, del departamento del Valle del Cauca en la Región Pacífico de Colombia (RPC), respecto a su característica social. Los resultados conllevan a identificar las posibles potencialidades territoriales en términos sociales que tiene este municipio.
