La búsqueda de una situación clásica como reto para una nueva economía política: la necesaria integración de los elementos analíticos y de visión

Abstract

Desde el declive del keynesianismo,la teoría económica se encuentra en un periodo de corte regresivo. En el presente artículo se hace una amplia reflexión acerca del papel que los elementos analíticos y de visión, integradores de lo que Schumpeter denominó situación clásica", han tenido en este proceso de disenso. La reflexión se hace mediante un recorrido por los capítulos de la historia del pensamiento económico en los que se alcanzó el consenso, característico de las "situaciones clásicas": economía clásica, marginalismo y keynesianismo. Asimismo se esbozan las razones del actual momento de controversia y se delimitan algunos elementos que podrían contribuir a superarlo, para configurar una nueva economía política, con los rasgos esenciales de una situación clásica."
