Las modificaciones tarifarias en la cadena del gas natural en la Argentina

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es evaluar las modificaciones dispuestas por el Ministerio de Energía y Minería de la República Argentina en los precios del gas natural para los distintos segmentos de la demanda. A la vez, se evalúan las modificaciones futuras de los mismos en base a los senderos de precios publicados por dicho organismo. El aumento en el precio del gas boca de pozo y la realización de la Revisión Tarifaria Integral (RTI) en los segmentos de transporte y distribución de gas natural implicaron una sensible modificación de la distribución de los recursos hacia dentro de la cadena gasífera, así como una sensible reducción de los subsidios del Estado Argentino al sector. Este último elemento pareciera haber sido el objetivo central de las políticas adoptadas, ya que no se verificó una significativa modificación en los precios percibidos por la industria hidrocarburífera.
