Abstract

El artículo analiza las bases filosóficas e ideológicas del neoliberalismo yplantea que éstas descansan en los pilares del liberalismo, según las cualesel eje central y primordial de la sociedad es el individuo, el cual, debesalvaguardarse por encima de cualquier otra entidad, aún cuando estapresuma representarlo como Estado, partido, clase social, iglesia, etc. Separte del presupuesto que la libertad individual debe ser protegidaesencialmente para salvaguardar el derecho a la propiedad privada y quepuede someterse a las libres" relaciones de economía de mercado.__________ABSTACT:This article analyses philosophical and ideological bases of neoliberalism.It states that those bases rest on the neoliberalism pillars which consider thatthe individual becomes the central and paramount axis of the society. Theindividual should be safeguarded above any entity even when this showsthe individual as a state, party, social class, church etc. Neoliberalismassumes that the individual freedom should be protected essentially topreserve the private property right and the free market economyrelationships."
