Abstract

El autor analiza la globalización haciendo énfasis en las dimensioneseconómicas, pero no descarta que en los actuales momentos es necesariotener en cuenta el medio ambiente, los derechos humanos, y los derechoseconómicos, sociales y culturales, y el género. En el artículo se plantea que laglobalización de los anos noventa no es el primer intento del mencionadoproceso, sino que la movilidad de capitales se ha dado desde finales del siglopasado y que lo importante es la forma en que cambian las condiciones,como también, las restricciones y las libertades existentes en los diferentespaíses. De hecho se hace un contraste entre el ritmo de crecimiento de AméricaLatina con el resto del mundo destacando las particularidades que tiene laregión y la forma en que se dan las relaciones comerciales.______________ABSTRACT:The author analyses globalization and economic dimensions taking intoaccount environment, human rights, economic, social and cultural rightsand gender.The essay explains that Capital Mobility has begun at the end of the pastcentury. The chief issue is the changes in the conditions as well as the restrictionsand freedoms in each country.In fact the article compares the Latin America growth with the world´s andoutstands regional features and trade relationships.
