Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to analyze the factors that generate violence inColombia. In this context, the author discusses basic elements of theneoliberalism, drugs dealing, and inequity, and states the hypothesis thatinequity is the main factor which causes violence. In his first attempt toprove his hypothesis, he has found enough reasons to think that exclusionand inequity could have set the conditions for the violence in Colombia."
