Cambio tecnológico y crecimiento económico industrial. Impactos sobre la estructura ocupacional en la industria manufacturera colombiana (1987 - 1997)

Abstract

este ensayo investiga las tendencias más relevantes en las variables básicas del comportamiento económico, de cambio tecnológico e innovación en la estructura industrial colombiana, con énfasis en el efecto del crecimiento sectorial sobre los niveles de ocupación. El ensayo indaga sobre las capacidades sectoriales para la producción de innovación tecnológica asociadas con el desempeno de la productividad multifactorial y la evolución de empleo a lo largo del período 1987 - 1997. Constata si las grandes variaciones en el empleo se deben al aumento que pudieran experimentar algunas industrias en sus niveles de intensidad de capital, productividades factoriales y cambio tecnológico, aspectos relevantes al propósito de explicar las transformaciones sectoriales ocurridas en la estructura industrial colombiana a lo largo de los primeros anos de la apertura económica.
