Entendimentos e desentendimentos da pesquisa empírica da visao baseada em recursos: uma abordagem exploratória

Abstract

Este é um ensaio teórico cujo objetivo é explorar as influencias da teoria economica no teste empírico da Visao Baseada em Recursos (VBR). Argumenta-se que apesar da ativa influencia da Economia na construcao teórica da estratégia, há importantes adaptacoes conceituais que colocam novos desafios para pesquisa empírica. Nesse sentido, demonstra-se que os pressupostos centrais de heterogeneidade e mobilidade imperfeita dos recursos sao perdidos ao testar a teoria com ferramental economico por duas razoes: (1) a agregacao dos dados que os testes economicos necessitam e, (2) o reconhecimento de fatores isolados como determinantes do fenomeno. Assim, aponta-se a necessidade de repensar o ponto de partida da investigacao empírica da VBR, com sugestao de novas técnicas ou abordagens.
