Formación en competencias gerenciales. Una mirada desde los fundamentos filosóficos de la administración

Abstract

El propósito de esta investigación es clasificar competencias gerenciales (genéricas y específicas) de acuerdo a la perspectiva de fundamentos filosóficos de Renée Bédard e identificar su importancia y des- arrollo en cada uno de los fundamentos: ontológicos, axiológicos, epistemológicos y praxeológicos. La investigación utiliza un método inductivo soportado en la inferencia estadística, partiendo de los resul- tados para docentes y empleadores del trabajo realizado por ASCOLFA-GRIICA (réplica en Colombia del proyecto Tunning-América Latina). En conclusión, los procesos de formación de los administradores en Colombia privilegian las competencias epistemológicas y praxeológicas, principalmente en las especí- ficas; además, las genéricas ontológicas y epistemológicas están poco desarrolladas. Estos resultados orientan la construcción de currículos y los procesos de selección y evaluación del desempeno profesional.
