La maximización del beneficio en las empresas depuradoras de aguas residuales. El caso de Valencia (Espana)

Abstract

El estudio propone un sistema de maximización de beneficios de una estación depuradora de aguas residuales (EDAR). La presencia de objetivos múltiples impide su consecución simultánea, por lo que se considerará suficiente la consecución de un determinado grado de satisfacción para cada uno de ellos. En ocasiones, resulta muy complicado este último planteamiento, por lo que se permitirán excepcionalmente ciertas violaciones de algunas restricciones, lo que permite concluir que la programación por objetivos borrosa puede ser un instrumento adecuado para este tipo de problemas. En consecuencia, las EDAR tendrán una herramienta precisa para conseguir la maximización de sus beneficios al que se anade un nuevo sistema de medición de la eficiencia en el sector.
