Temps de travail et reduction du temps de travail en Allemagne

Abstract

En 1984, a l'issue du plus severe conflit salarial qui ait eclate en Allemagne apres-guerre dans les secteurs de l'industrie metallurgique et de l'imprimerie, la duree hebdomadaire du travail est passee sous la barre des 40 heures ; par la suite, d'autres secteurs ont suivi cet exemple. Du fait des reductions d'horaires, les augmentations globales de salaire se sont revelees considerablement moins importantes. Les restrictions salariales ont donc contribue au financement de la reduction du temps de travail.
