Abstract

Es entonces que la Responsabilidad Social no es inherente solo a las grandes corporaciones o a un sector en particular. Todo tipo de entidad, incluyendo las empresas familiares, debe responsabilizarse por los efectos que ocasione su actividad empresarial, procurando con su prosperidad económica el apoyo a la sociedad y la protección del medio ambiente. Bajo este contexto este trabajo pretende describir la orientación que sobre la Responsabilidad Social Sostenible (RSS) tienen las empresas familiares en la ciudad de Celaya Guanajuato. Los resultados demuestran que la responsabilidad social no es reconocida por las empresas familiares, especialmente por las microempresas, que perciben que su actividad está primordialmente ligada al aspecto económico, sin que esto se vea relacionado con actividades en beneficio de sus grupos de interés.
