Nein, eine höhere Beitragsbemessungsgrenze ist nicht sozial gerecht

Abstract

In der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung (GKV) wird die Beitragsbemessungsgrenze standardmäßig jedes Jahr an die Entwicklung der Bruttolöhne und -gehälter angepasst. Mit der Gesundheitsreform sollen darüber hinaus 300 Euro aufgeschlagen werden. Gutverdiener zahlen also auf 300 Euro mehr Beiträge – starke Schultern können mehr tragen, so die Idee. Und die Idee ist falsch. Um es kurz zu sagen: Mehr bezahlen soll, wer Kinder hat, solidarisch ist, krank, nicht verbeamtet oder nicht ganz so viel verdient. Denn die starken Schultern sind nicht mehr in der GKV.
