Arbeitsmarkt im Stillstand? Demografie, Digitalisierung und die Notwendigkeit neuer Dynamik in Deutschland

Abstract

Der deutsche Arbeitsmarkt steht nicht vor einer vorübergehenden Herausforderung, sondern vor einer dauerhaften Transformation. Deutschland kann diese Transformation bewältigen und seine strukturellen Stärken nutzen – aber nur mit noch mehr Bewegung. Wir müssen es also schaffen, Transformation so zu gestalten, dass neue Wertschöpfung und gute Arbeitsplätze entstehen – und zwar schneller als die alten verschwinden. Anpassungsfähigkeit wird damit zur zentralen Währung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt. Am Ende ist klar: Der Arbeitsmarkt verändert sich nicht mehr in Wellen, sondern im Dauerlauf – und darauf müssen wir uns einstellen.
