Midijobs – institutionelle Anreize für Teilzeitarbeit

Abstract

In Deutschland werden mehr als 12 Mio. Beschäftigungsverhältnisse mit geringen Einkommen als Mini- und Midijobs attraktiv ausgestaltet. Midijobs wurden eingeführt, um Übergänge aus Minijobs in reguläre Beschäftigung zu erleichtern. Wir wissen, dass Midijobs dieses Ziel nicht erreichen. Dennoch wurden Midijobsubventionen seit 2003 stetig erhöht und steigern die Attraktivität von Teilzeitbeschäftigung.
