Einkommensverteilung und Inflation: Theorie und Empirie zu Deutschland

Abstract

Die von Christine Lagarde für den Euroraum herausgestellte prominente Rolle der Gewinnmargeninflation ab 2022 lässt sich für Deutschland in den Daten des BIPDeflators für den Zeitraum 1992 bis 2024 nicht finden. Von den drei angebotsseitigen Inflationstreibern – Gewinnmargeninflation, Lohndruckinflation und Abgabeninflation – dominiert der Einfluss der Gewerkschaften und ihrer Lohnpolitik auf die Verteilungsposition des Faktors Arbeit (Brutto- und Nettolohnquote). Dies ist durchaus überraschend vor dem Hintergrund, dass sich die deutschen Gewerkschaften (nach wie vor) im Kampf gegen sinkende Mitgliederzahlen befinden und ihr abnehmender Organisationsgrad dem in europäischen Nachbarstaaten durchaus ähneln dürfte
