Sondervermögen unter der Lupe: Ökonomen äußern Zweifel

Abstract

Ökonominnen und Ökonomen an deutschen Universitäten sehen die Verwendung der Mittel aus dem Sondervermögen Infrastruktur und Klimaneutralität kritisch. Im 53. Ökonomenpanel von ifo und Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung schätzen die Teilnehmenden, dass 47 % der neu aufgenommenen Mittel tatsächlich in zusätzliche Investitionen fließen. Viele gehen davon aus, dass bereits geplante Projekte aus Bundes- und Länderhaushalten verdrängt werden. Bei der Verwendung der Mittel sehen die Ökonominnen und Ökonomen klare Prioritäten in den Bereichen der Verkehrs- und Energieinfrastruktur sowie in der Digitalisierung und Bildungs- und Wissenschaftsinfrastruktur. Mehrheitlich erwarten sie positive Effekte der öffentlichen Investitionen auf private Investitionen. Knapp die Hälfte glaubt, dass sich der Zustand der deutschen Infrastruktur in den nächsten zehn Jahren insgesamt verbessern wird
