Zur Situation der Pflege in Krankenhäusern: Empirie und ein systematischer Ansatz zur Verbesserung der Arbeitsbedingung

Abstract

Pflegefachpersonen sind eine tragende Säule im Gesundheitswesen. Das sollte aber nicht dazu führen, den zukünftigen Bedarf so hoch zu schätzen, dass unvermeidlich eine wachsende Lücke im Angebot bleibt. Notwendig ist vielmehr eine Umgestaltung der Versorgung, insbesondere das Erbringen diverser bisher stationärer Leistungen auf ambulante Weise, wozu der Abbau von Krankenhauskapazitäten notwendig ist. Die verbleibenden Krankenhausstandorte sollten dann – unter Nutzung der Magnet-Prinzipien – über ein Arbeitsumfeld für Pflegefachpersonen verfügen, dass sie zugleich zu attraktiven Arbeitgebern macht als auch eine qualitativ hochwertige und kosteneffektive Versorgung ermöglicht.
