Abstract

Der Beitrag zeigt die Ergebnisse einer Bestandsaufnahme der Sozialleistungen in Deutschland, die auf Bundesebene geregelt sind. Insgesamt konnten 502 verschiedene Sozialleistungen identifziert werden. Diese Sammlung aller Geld-, Sach- und Dienstleistungen sowie steuerlichen Freibeträge mit sozialpolitischem Zweck sind in einer frei zugänglichen Datenbank zusammengefasst und im ifo Forschungsbericht 160 veröffentlicht. Ziel ist es, einen systematischen Überblick über die Leistungen im „Haus der sozialen Hilfe und Förderung“ zu schaffen, um eine Orientierung für Forschung, Praxis und Politik zu ermöglichen.
