Trump als Herausforderung für die globalen Finanzmärkte

Abstract

Die aktuelle wirtschafts- und geopolitische Agenda der USA stellt für die globalen Finanzmärkte eine enorme Herausforderung dar. Um den Schuldendienst angesichts der sprunghaft ansteigenden Verschuldung leisten zu können, wird der Regierung Trump kaum etwas anderes übrigbleiben, als die Marktkräfte auszuhebeln. Dazu gehören verstärkter Druck auf ausländische Investoren und eine weniger unabhängige Notenbank. Wenn überhaupt scheint in der aktuellen Situation nur Europa in der Lage, dem Finanzmarkt die nötige Stabilität zu geben. Für den Währungsraum Verpflichtung und Chance zugleich.
