Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und strategische Autonomie: Europas Antwort auf die neue Handelsordnung

Abstract

Die globale Handelsordnung erlebt einen tiefgreifenden Wandel, der Europas wirtschaftliche und politische Handlungsfähigkeit herausfordert. Strategische Autonomie soll Europas Abhängigkeiten verringern, etwa in der Rohstoffversorgung, Halbleiterproduktion und digitalen Infrastruktur, ohne sich vom globalen Handel abzuwenden. Dabei gilt es, wirtschaftliche Resilienz mit sozialer Verantwortung und technologischem Fortschritt zu verbinden. Eine handlungsfähige EU muss ihre Handelspolitik pragmatischer gestalten und ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit stärken, während Deutschland als zentraler Akteur innerhalb Europas eine aktive Rolle übernehmen sollte.
