Die transatlantischen Handelsbeziehungen im Spannungsfeld: Eine aktuelle Einschätzung aus Washington D.C

Abstract

Die transatlantischen Wirtschaftsbeziehungen bleiben für Deutschland von zentraler Bedeutung, auch wenn protektionistische Tendenzen in den USA zunehmende Unsicherheiten schaffen. Trotz Zöllen und politischer Unwägbarkeiten sind die USA für deutsche Unternehmen weiterhin ein attraktiver Markt. Investitionsentscheidungen basieren langfristig auf stabilen Handelsbeziehungen und weniger auf kurzfristigen politischen Anreizen. Die enge wirtschaftliche Verflechtung zwischen Deutschland und den USA bietet Chancen, erfordert jedoch pragmatisches Risikomanagement und strategische Anpassung. Lokale Produktion und Ausbildungspartnerschaften werden wichtiger. Eine vollständige Rückkehr zum Freihandel erscheint unwahrscheinlich – sektorale Vereinbarungen könnten ein realistischer Weg nach vorn sein.
