Europäisches Bauvolumen schrumpft 2024 um 2,7 % – durchwachsener Ausblick: Ausgewählte Ergebnisse der EUROCONSTRUCT-Sommerkonferenz 2024

Abstract

Der europäische Bausektor durchläuft derzeit eine Korrekturphase. So wird das Bauvolumen im EUROCONSTRUCT-Gebiet1 in den Jahren 2023 und 2024 um insgesamt 4 % sinken. Während beispielsweise die Investitionen in neue Wohngebäude im selben Zeitraum um 18,2 % sinken werden, ist für den Tiefbau mit einem Zuwachs um 6,1 % zur rechnen. Im kommenden Jahr wird die Bautätigkeit dann voraussichtlich wieder zunehmen, wobei der Anstieg mit 1,3 % mäßig ausfällt. 2026 gewinnt das Baugeschehen weiter an Dynamik (+1,8 %) und auch der Wohnungsneubau dürfte wieder moderat expandieren.
