Europäische Baukonjunktur verliert 2024 weiter an Dynamik - Ausgewählte Ergebnisse der EUROCONSTRUCT-Winterkonferenz 2023

Abstract

In einem weiter schwierigen wirtschaftlichen Umfeld wird die Bautätigkeit in Europa 2024 mit 2,1% noch etwas stärker zurückgehen als im Vorjahr. Für die kommenden beiden Jahre rechnet das EUROCONSTRUCT-Netzwerk mit einer moderaten Erholung. Während der Hochbau unter dem gestiegenen Zinsniveau, den stark verteuerten Bauleistungen und den gesunkenen finanziellen Spielräumen der verschiedenen Auftraggeber leidet, wächst der Tiefbau – angesichts der staatlichen Rückendeckung für Infrastrukturvorhaben – bis 2026 mit beachtlicher Schlagzahl weiter. Die aktuell rückläufigen Bauaktivitäten haben vor allem mit der Marktkorrektur im Wohnungsneubau zu tun. Im Zwei-Jahres-Zeitraum 2023 bis 2024 dürfte dieses Teilsegment um insgesamt 15% schrumpfen. Mittelfristig ist hier keine nennenswerte Nachfragebelebung in Sicht.
