Realwert des Bruttoinlandsprodukts und Terms of Trade: Ergebnisse für das Jahr 2022

Abstract

Das preisbereinigte Bruttoinlandsprodukt als zentrales Maß für die im Inland erwirtschafte Leistung hat im Jahr 2022 die heimische Wohlfahrtsentwicklung überschätzt. Denn im Gefolge der Verschlechterung der Terms of Trade ist ein Teil des in Deutschland erwirtschafteten Realeinkommens ins Ausland abgeflossen. Einen trennschärferen Blick auf das Wirtschaftsgeschehen ermöglicht der Realwert des Bruttoinlandsprodukts. Dieser Indikator ergänzt die herkömmliche Volumenrechnung um Realeinkommenseffekte, die auf Veränderungen der Preisrelationen im Außenhandel zurückgehen. Der Beitrag präsentiert die Methodik und diskutiert die Ergebnisse für das Jahr 2022.
