Bauwirtschaft: Droht ein Absturz in der Baubranche?

Abstract

Die Baubranche steht unter Druck. Vom Wohnungs- über den Wirtschaftsbau bis hin zum öffentlichen Bau ist für die Jahre 2022 und 2023 mit einem realen Minus zu rechnen. Zinssteigerung, Baukostenexplosion und Förderkürzung dürften vor allem im Wohnungsbau zu einem Abwärtstrend führen. Die Nachfrage nach bezahlbaren Wohnungen, der Bedarf an einer verlässlichen Verkehrsinfrastruktur und die Aufgaben bei der Umsetzung der Energie- und Klimawende bleiben aber mittel- und langfristig hoch. Ist die Stimmung schlechter als die wirtschaftliche Lage tatsächlich ist?
