Fluchtbewegungen aus der Ukraine: Ursachen, Auswirkungen und Prognosen

Abstract

Die Fluchtbewegungen aus der Ukraine haben eine über hundert Jahre lange Geschichte, die mit der Geschichte der Weltkriege verbunden sind. Drei der vier ukrainischen Auswanderungswellen tragen das Wort "Krieg" in ihrem Namen. In jeder der Auswanderungswellen gab es Menschen, die vor der Verfolgung durch das herrschende Regime oder vor einem Krieg geflohen sind. Mit Millionen von Binnenvertriebenen, Geflüchteten in Nachbarländern oder in Staaten mit einer großen ukrainischen Diaspora hat die derzeitige Flüchtlingsbewegung allerdings ein noch nie dagewesenes Ausmaß. Die Dauer des Krieges ist nicht nur für die Zahl der Geflüchteten aus der Ukraine, sondern auch für ihre Zukunftsperspektiven als Heimkehrende, Weiterreisende, Arbeitsmigrant*innen und Asylsuchende entscheidend.
