Produktivitätseffekte durch Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien in Deutschland

Abstract

Die Innovationstätigkeit im IKT-Bereich war während der 2000er Jahre besonders ausgeprägt und führte zu weitreichender Technologiediffusion. Jedoch materialisierten sich die Produktivitätssteigerungen in den anderen Wirtschaftsbereichen erst ab dem Ende der 2000er Jahre. Dies lässt sich dadurch erklären, dass Unternehmen Zeit für die Umstellung ihrer Produktionsprozesse benötigten und sich somit erst mit Verzögerung Produktivitätsgewinne eingestellt haben. Die ifo Investorenrechnung zeigt zudem die Bedeutung des Leasings bei der Messung dieser Effekte, die ohne dessen Berücksichtigung überschätzt werden.
