Die Zukunft des Geschäftsmodells Deutschland

Abstract

Die aktuellen Krisen und geopolitischen Veränderungen haben zu einer Debatte darüber geführt, ob sich die deutsche Volkswirtschaft einschließlich der Wirtschaftspolitik grundlegend neu ausrichten muss, ob das „Geschäftsmodell Deutschland“ also zukunftsfähig ist. Veränderungsbedarf gibt es vor allem in der Energiepolitik, bei der Handhabung von Risiken durch außenwirtschaftliche Abhängigkeiten und bei den Verteidigungsausgaben. Deutschland braucht künftig eine diversifiziertere Energieversorgung und ein gezielteres Management von außenwirtschaftlichen Risiken. Höhere Ausgaben für Rüstung und andere Transformationen werden die öffentlichen Finanzen stark beanspruchen und erfordern Reformen des öffentlichen Sektors. Um all diese Herausforderungen zu bewältigen, ist eine stärkere Zusammenarbeit auf europäischer Ebene erforderlich.
