Integrationsperspektive von ukrainischen Geflüchteten im deutschen Schulsystem

Abstract

Der anhaltende Angriffskrieg in der Ukraine stellt Deutschland vor die Frage, wie es die ukrainischen Geflüchteten bestmöglich unterstützen kann. Der hohe Anteil geflüchteter Schulkinder rückt dabei die Versorgung mit Schulbildung in den Fokus. Diese ist essenziell sowohl für eine gelingende Integration in Deutschland als auch für die Rückkehr in ihr Heimatland. Eine Auswertung der PISA-Studie 2018 zeigt, dass ukrainische Schulkinder in einem standardisierten Test unter dem Niveau von deutschen Schulkindern abschneiden, insbesondere in Mathematik. Die Leistungen liegen jedoch deutlich über denen der EU-Mitgliedstaaten Bulgarien und Rumänien, aus denen bereits zahlreiche Kinder in das deutsche Bildungssystem integriert wurden.
