Abstract

Germany should reduce its tax rates for companies. This is the position taken by the majority of the economists interviewed in the ifo-FAZ Economic Panel. 53% of the 104 economists* questioned agreed with the statement that Germany should lower its corporate taxes, as other countries have already done. Almost a quarter of the respondents expressed their disapproval.
