Special Evaluation of ifo Business Surveyed for Q4 2017: Architecture Firms

Author

Listed:
  • Christoph Zeiner

Abstract

The business climate for architecture firms participating in the ifo Business Survey improved significantly in the fourth quarter of 2017. This was due to the sharp increase in both sub-indicators. Current developments in revenues gained impetus significantly in Q4, generating greater optimism about revenue expectations. In October assessments of the order backlog reached their highest level since the launch of the sector survey in 2005.
