Ifo Business Survey for October 2015 in Brief: German Economy Proves Robust

Abstract

The Ifo Business Climate Index for German trade and industry fell in October. Companies were slightly less satisfied with their current business situation than in September. Optimism over future business developments, however, continued to wane. The German economy is proving amazingly robust to the multiple challenges of the autumn.
