Abstract

In seinem Beitrag zeigt Ferdinand Dudenhöffer, Universität Duisburg-Essen, dass die Premiumbranche den Autostandort Deutschland stabilisiert. Das weltweite Premiumgeschäft ist die Domäne der deutschen Autokonzerne. Neue Impulse, wie etwa die Kategorie kleiner Premiumfahrzeuge, haben dem Segment einen weiteren Wachstumsschub gegeben. Auch in den nächsten Jahren werden die deutschen Autobauer ihre Vormachtstellung im weltweiten Premiumautogeschäft mit Erfolg behaupten können. Einziger Wehmutstropfen scheinen die Elektromobilität und Innovatoren wie das US-Unternehmen Tesla zu sein, das auf dem Premiummarkt weiter nach vorne drängt.
